I'm celebrating my birthday at work today-all day! But I have great co-workers so it's really not so bad; it actually beats celebrating it alone at home while everyone else is at work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! That's one of the biggest things I miss about working. Having great friends I get to see every day!

A writer's purpose

I started this blog a few months ago in need of some therapy. My heart had been broken and I was devastated. I needed to get my feelings out there, I needed to cry, and to mend. Now, I wake up ready to start my day and looking forward to what it may bring. I have discovered what I am made of and what I can accomplish. I take on challenges and have discovered how important having friends are. My "real-life" friends and all my newly-made blogger friends have been an immense help in my healing process. This blog will continue, but from now on it will consist more of how I see each day with beauty and potential...no more ashes!
